The Dutch King and Queen are visiting Austin on an economic development mission to mark the 10th anniversary of Austin’s commitment to adopt Dutch-style bikeway network design. Seen as an urban mobility innovator in North America, Austin has worked with Dutch experts since 2012 to inform their “Bicycle Plan”, and in 2016 Mayor Adler visited the Netherlands on a “Smart City” innovation exchange to explore how data can improve the quality of life of Austin residents.

🇦🇹 Austria has highest % of female-led startups in EU
The “Female Startups and Investing” report published by Austria’s federal Ministry for Labour and Economy found that 36% of Austrian startups are female-led (a 65% increase since 2010), the highest in the EU. Analysis based on Dealroom data.
