🇨🇭 MindMaze - a company that builds interfaces for neuro-rehabilitation raised $125M in Late VC funding from AlbaCore Capital. MindMaze already reached unicorn status in February 2016. It has also raised capital from Leonardo DiCaprio.
🇬🇧 Britishvolt - a company building a battery gigafactory in the UK - raised $70M from Glencore, Carbon Transition, and NG Bailey at over $1B valuation. It is the UK 12th impact unicorn. The company was founded in just 2019.
🇫🇷 Lhyfe - a company that produces green hydrogen from H2O - raised €50M in Series A funding led by SWEN Capital Partners and Banque des Territories. It is the largest round raised by a French hydrogen startup so far.

🇺🇸 BeeHero - a precision pollination service - raised $15M Series A from ADM Capital, Rabo Food and Agri Innovation Fund, iAngels, FirstTime, J-Ventures, UpWest, Entrée Capital, Good Company, the Arison Group and Gaingels and a $4M grant from the European Commission, the BIRD Foundation, and the Israel Innovation Authority.
🇸🇪 Normative.io - raised €10M Series A from 2150, ETF Partners, Lowercarbon Capital and other investors. Founded in 2014 it is one of the oldest startups working in carbon accounting. In September 2021 it was selected for the Google.org fellowship.
🇬🇧 Jennis - a startup offering personalized exercise programs to heal and regulate hormonal health raised £1M Seed from Maki.vc. Female health is an under-researched segment. Femtech startups raised an all-time high €793M funding this year.
🇮🇱 RepAir - a direct-air carbon capture startup - raised a $1.5M seed round. 2021 has been a record year for the number of rounds raised by carbon capture startups with 26 publicly disclosed rounds.
🇺🇸 Aeroseal - an Ohio-based company working on air sealing for real estate - raised an undisclosed round from 2150. It raised $22M in Series A funding this summer from Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Energy Impact Partners and Building Ventures.
