🇺🇸 Immunai, biotech developer of the world’s largest data atlas of clinically annotated single-cell immune data, raised $215M. The company’s plan is to have more partnerships with biopharmas to help them find drug targets for clinical development. The company has about 30 partnerships with Fortune 100 pharmas and academic institutions like Harvard, Stanford and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
🇫🇷 DNA Script, developer of the first bench-top DNA printer powered by enzymatic technology, raised $165M in Series C. DNA Script has changed the landscape by replacing chemical processes with a plug-and-play technology that custom prints DNA on your lab bench.
🇫🇷 DentalMonitoring, AI-based remote monitoring system for aligner and braces treatments, became a unicorn by raising $150M at a $1.0B valuation. The French company plans to expand its presence in the US, China and Japan.
🇺🇸 Workit Health, virtual addiction treatment for substance use disorder and other addiction, as well as medically assisted treatments like Suboxone, raised $118M. Here more digital platforms for substance use disorder.
🇺🇸 Click Therapeutics, NY-based digital therapeutics (DTx) for depression, insomnia and other conditions, raised $52M Series B. So far, Click has brought one DTx to market: a digital smoking cessation program it developed with PBM Magellan Health. The startup has been with pharmaceuticals to develop DTx: pivot trial with Otsuka Pharmaceutical to treat depression and with Boehringer Ingelheim for schizophrenia.

🇺🇸 BIOMILQ, female-founded biotech startup developing lab-grown breastmilk, raised $21M in Series A. Earlier this year, the company announced that it had successfully farmed human breast milk outside the body, and plans to bring the product to market.
🇧🇷 SouSmile, a direct-to-consumer dental company raised $10M in Series A to push invisible aligners in Brazil.
🇺🇸 Anomaly, a New York-based payment startup, has secured $17M in Series A to provide AI-powered precision payments.
🇺🇸 GoCheck, a digital pediatric vision screening platform to protect children from vision impairment and blindness, raised $10M.

Notable exits:
🇺🇸 Telehealth prescription platform Lemonaid has been acquired by 23andMe for $400M. Lemonaid operates an on-demand platform for remotely accessing medical care and pharmacy services, including online consultations and prescription medicines' delivery across the US. 23andMe is pitching the acquisition as a step into primary care in order to offer genetic testing as a way to promote preventive and personalized medicine.
🇳🇱 ONWARD, a medtech company developing and commercializing therapies to enable functional recovery for people with spinal cord injury, went public, reaching a €350M valuation.
