Launched in 2017, the new round values the company at $700 million. Green Labs' has a data-driven software to track and optimize crop production of 500K farmers and a B2B marketplace for 10K enterprise buyers.
๐ฎ๐ฑ Redefine meat, an Israeli 3D-printed plant-based meat company, $135 million to set up production facilities in Israel and the Netherlands. This is the 7th largest round in the plant-based meat category ever. Redefine meat's products are available in 200 restaurants in Israel. Given the increasing demand for plant-based meat, Redefine meat might join the alternative protein unicorn club in the near future.

๐ฌ๐ง Vertical Future, a London-based vertical farming company, secured ยฃ21 million Series A funding. Last year, VC investment in vertical farming startups increased 34% year-over-year to $806 million. However, this still represents less than 2% of total foodtech investment.
๐ฎ๐ณ Waycool, an India-based farm-to-table company, raised $117 million in Series D funding.
๐ซ๐ท La Vie, a plant-based bacon and lardons, raised โฌ25 million Series A.
