🇺🇸 Gotham Greens, an indoor farming company, raised $310M in debt and equity at undisclosed valuation. This makes Gotham Greens the 5th most-funded indoor farming company globally, after Plenty, AppHarvest, Infarm and Bowery Farming.
Gotham Greens aims to build 13 locations by the end of next year. Although, indoor farming technology uses up to 97% less water and 95% less land compared to conventional farming, only a limited variety of crops can be grown (leafy greens).

🇮🇩 Gokomodo, Indonesia-based supply-chain management company, raised $26M in Series A funding to increase transparency and efficiency in the Indonesian agriculture market. Agribusiness is the second-largest industry in Indonesia, but similar to other countries, it is rather fragmented.
