๐บ๐ธ Lunchbox Technologies, a US-based food ordering Saas company, raised $50 million Series B. The company offers web and app ordering, loyalty programs and channel marketing for a flat monthly fee. This helps restaurants reduce their dependency on third party marketplaces such as DoorDash and Uber that charge them between 15 and 30 percent.
๐บ๐ธ Crisp, a US-based supply chain intelligence company, raised $35 million. The need for digitizing the supply chain has been amplified by Covid-related disruptions since 2020. About a third of the food is being lost before it reaches consumers, amounting to billions in lost revenue.

๐บ๐ธ Zero, a California-based zero plastic grocery delivery service, raised $12 million in Seed funding. There are 13 other online grocery delivery startups that align with UN Sustainable Development Goal #12, Responsible consumption and production.
๐บ๐ธ Zero Acre Farms secured $37 million to produce a better alternative to vegetable oil using fermentation and microorganisms. The "healthy fat" can be used in alternative protein products, such as plant-based meat.
๐ฎ๐ฑ AgriTask, an Israeli SaaS agronomic platform, bagged $26 million. Large ag-buyers and food companies such as Starbucks and Heineken already use AgriTask to manage supply-chain risks.
