Strellaโs novel IoT biosensors and real-time data streaming measures and monitors the freshness of each fruit produce from harvest to grocery store shelf, helping to reduce food waste and drive produce quality.

๐ธ๐ฌ๐ฏ๐ต Umitron, Singapore and Japan-based data startup building user-friendly aquaculture data platforms, received $2M funding from Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to provide its AI fish feeding tech to farmers in Peruโs Lake Titicaca. Umitron will use the money to train local producers to increase their familiarity with its products and drive growth of sustainable aquaculture in Peru.
๐ This project is the first step in Umitronโs long-term plans to support and develop technology for Latin American aquaculture producers.
๐บ๐ธ San-Francisco-based cannabis seed-to-sale platform, Canix, raises $10M in a round led by an unannounced firm to expand across the US and Canada.
๐จ๐ปโ๐พ๐ณ Canix's cannabis ERP software cuts down the busywork cannabis businesses juggle like compliance, inventory management, and sales. This funding will target new markets for Canix and broaden its product offering to help operators better predict and calculate profits per gram.

๐ฎ๐ฉ Eratani, an Indonesia-based agritech startup, raised ~$1.6M in a pre-seed round led by Trihill Capital. Eratani helps farmers improve land efficiency, acquire farming supplies, manage their harvest, and get access to loans.
