Planting seeds of success at Impact Fest 🌱

Last week the Dealroom team took the stage at Europe’s biggest impact festival #ImpactFest, hosted and organised by our partners at ImpactCity.

On November 15th, hundreds of organisations gathered in Den Haag to imagine, discuss and understand how we can all work on solutions that the world needs now. The event focused on four key areas in which we need to accelerate transition in order to achieve the 2030-sustainable development goals:

Food transition
Energy transition
Circular economy
Climate Adaptation

As one of the long-lasting partners of the Impact City, our team took the stage and presented and discussed our last report "The state of impact startups & VCs in 2022."

Key findings:

The combined value of impact tech companies is over $2T.
In 2022 impact startups raised $35B, surpassing pre-pandemic levels.
Climate Action and Affordable and Clean Energy are the most funded SDGs.
Impact startups provide 10% of the startup workforce in the Netherlands
