It's no secret that with rising consumer demand for eco-friendly business practices, and tech investors redirecting their attention to climate-related sectors, Impact has made great gains in recent years.   We saw this in 2021 with records set in terms of investment and overall value, but 2022 has been a different story. There's been a decrease in investment and value YoY has gone down. Rather than seeing this as specific to sector, we can see this as more of a result of the heightened market volatility and the general VC pullback we are witnessing at the moment across the global market. And although figures haven't hit the highs set by 2021, they're still positive.   In our latest Impact Q3 2022 Update, we provide the latest insights on the state of the impact sector. Key findings from Q3 2022: Combined enterprise value decreased by 20% from 2021. $12B venture capital invested in impact startups during Q3 2022,  down 40% compared to last year’s Q3. Affordable and Clean Energy is the most funded SDG in Q3 2022. 4 new impact unicorns were created in this quarter. European companies have attracted 27% less investments compared to last quarter.
