Big week for Quantum

Two of the biggest VC rounds for Quantum startups of all time were raised this week. In fact, there were three major Quantum rounds in as many days.

On Tuesday, Phasecraft, a quantum software spinout of UCL & Bristol, raised $34M Series B. 

On Wednesday, Aalto University spinout IQM raised the biggest quantum Series B to date, with $320M raised at a $1B valuation.

Thursday was the turn of Quantinuum, with $600M raised at a $10B valuation in a round led by Nvidia. The company formed in 2021 by the merger of Cambridge Quantum and Honeywell.

Quantum computing VC funding is already at all-time high levels in 2025. $3.4B has been raised so far this year, beating the previous record $2.2B from last year. Investment is projected to reach $4.8B by year end, or 2.2x year on year.

84% of global Quantum funding has been raised in the US and Europe since 2019. And there is now some serious momentum building in the space. 

In all there are 346 quantum startups worldwide working to solve the most pressing challenges in the future of compute. Track every one.
