๐ซ๐ท PopChef, a Paris-based catering service, raised โฌ15M to fuel growth. The company aims to build the first "eco-designed canteen". To do so, they came up with a 9-point plan (in French) that includes traceability of raw materials for dishes, empowering local farmers, employing people with disabilities and removal of single-use packaging, among others.
๐บ๐ธ Magic Spoon, NYC maker of low-carbohydrate cereal foods for adult customers, secured $85M in Series B funding as three of its brands make the jump from direct-to-consumer-only offerings to Target store shelves for the first time.
๐ฉ๐ฐ REDUCED, a Danish foodtech startup that develops ingredients, flavor enhancers and food products from side streams and excess produce, received โฌ2.9m in a seed round from Rockstart, a global early stage investor.
REDUCED plans to utilize the funding to finalize the investment into its unique technology used for the creation of plant-based flavor enhancers, expand its production facilities and attract talent.
