🇺🇸 Honor, a SF-based marketplaces for elderly care, raised $370 million in debt and equity at a $1.3 billion valuation. In August, Honor acquired Home Instead, a home healthcare franchise with 1,089 units across the US, UK and Canada. The home healthcare market was $299 billion in 2020. 🇪🇸 Spotahome, a Madrid-based marketplaces for long-term rentals, raised $29 million Series B at $200 million valuation, after reaching profitability in Q3 2021. However, the market conditions remain highly competitive. Airbnb also rolled out long-term rentals last year in response to Covid-19. 🇮🇳 Rebel Foods, a Mumbai-based startup working on dark/cloud kitchens, raised $175 million at a $1.4 billion valuation, becoming the 5th pure play dark kitchens startup to hit the billion-dollar valuation. There are at least 45 other startups setting up dark kitchens to expand their own delivery service or rent to third parties

🇺🇸 The Mom Project, a Chicago-based talent marketplace for moms, raised $80 million Series C to invest in new tech and growth. The startup provides upskilling and employer matching, and is aiming to create $1B in economic opportunities for moms in the next three years.
🇺🇸 Tundra, a San Francisco-based wholesale marketplace, raised $26 million Series B. Over the past year Tundra has become the largest wholesale marketplace in the US.
🇺🇸 Wardrobe, a New York-based peer-to-peer clothes rental platform, raised $4.1 million Seed capital. Wardrobe joins 14 other clothes leasing platforms making fashion more sustainable.
