ICYM: Update on the Nordics startup jobs and impact ecosystem
80% of jobs at Nordic startups are at startups (<50 employees) and scaleups (50-500).
This has so far shielded the Nordic ecosystem from widespread loss of opportunities that have more greatly affected large late-stage tech “grown-ups” and unicorn employers.
On another note, 38% of funding in the Nordics is going to impact startups, compared to 22% for Europe and less than 10% for US and Asia. Our latest report also reveals that impact companies account for 14% of all startup jobs in the Nordics, and attract more applicants for open vacancies.
