πΊπΈ Ultima Genomics, gene sequencing startup, raised $600M to lower genome sequencing costs. Ultima claims it can sequence an entire genome for just $100, which is an affordability advancement that could significantly accelerate genomic research.
πΊπΈ Health insurer, Friday Health Plans, raised $70M of equity funding and $50M in debt.
π«π· Ouihelp, an elderly-home help solution based on a matching algorithm, raised β¬30M in Series B. The startup has deployed a matching algorithm allowing families to find the most suitable carer for the person, as well as tools for monitoring interventions and automating tasks.
Other notable deals from around the globe:
πΈπͺ CapiTainer, home blood sampling, raised $3.5M in Seed. The funds will be used to support the development of its new qDBS dried blood spot testing system. Capitainer has now firmly established that the home sampling system works for clinical use, with an impressive success rate with first time users.
πͺπ¬ Esaal, hub for online health and wellness consultations in the MENA Region, raised $1.7M in Seed to expand operations further.
